Terms of Use
Conditions for accessing and using the Code Gaia Archive.
Last updated: June 2026
By accessing the Code Gaia Archive (codegaia.deniardente.com), you agree to the following terms. These terms apply specifically to this archive subdomain. For terms covering the author's broader works, see the main Terms of Use.
1. Nature of the archive
The Code Gaia Archive is a literary-research companion to the Code Gaia novel cycle by Deni ArDente. It contains:
- Fictional dossiers — research files written as part of the novel's world.
- Recorded evidence — references to real scientific recordings, papers, and documents.
- Original writing, sound, and visual content — created by the author.
The boundary between fictional reconstruction and documented reality is intentional. Read with attention.
2. Intellectual property
All original content in this archive — texts, dossiers, audio compositions, illustrations, design, and code — is the intellectual property of Deni ArDente.
You may:
- Read, listen, and reflect on the materials for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Share links to specific archive pages freely.
- Quote short passages with attribution and a link back to the source.
You may not:
- Republish, redistribute, or copy substantial portions of the archive.
- Use any text, sound, image, or video from the archive for commercial purposes without written permission.
- Use this content to train AI models, generate derivative works, or for any automated processing without explicit consent.
- Bypass access restrictions on locked sections.
- Republish the archive content as your own research.
3. Third-party references
The archive references scientific papers, recordings, news articles, and documents from third parties (NOAA, NASA, ESA, peer-reviewed journals, etc.). Those references belong to their respective authors and institutions. We link to original sources whenever possible.
The archive's interpretation, framing, and curation of these references is original work — but the underlying data, recordings, and papers remain the property of their creators.
4. Access tiers
Parts of the archive are freely accessible. Other parts unlock progressively as you read the published Code Gaia novels — each book contains an access phrase that unlocks the corresponding section.
By using an access phrase, you confirm that you have legitimately obtained it through reading the book. Sharing access phrases publicly defeats the purpose and may result in revocation of access.
5. Disclaimer on content
The Code Gaia Archive is part of a literary work. While many files reference real scientific phenomena, the archive is curated within the narrative frame of the Code Gaia cycle.
The archive does not provide:
- Medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice.
- Legal or financial guidance.
- Verified scientific consensus on all topics presented.
- Survival, emergency, or safety instructions.
For any matters affecting your health, safety, or major life decisions, consult qualified professionals and primary sources.
6. Fictional disclaimer
The dossiers, characters, organizations, and events depicted in the Code Gaia novels are works of fiction. Any resemblance to real persons, living or deceased, or actual events is either coincidental or used in the manner of literary tradition (as with historical or public figures referenced in fiction).
7. Audio and sound design
The archive uses atmospheric audio composed specifically for the Code Gaia universe. Some files include references to real scientific recordings (Schumann resonance, ocean infrasound, etc.) attributed to their original sources where applicable. These atmospheric layers are the original composition of Deni ArDente unless explicitly noted otherwise.
8. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to restricted sections of the archive.
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract content.
- Interfere with the operation of the site.
- Misrepresent the fictional nature of the work as factual reporting.
9. Licensing
If you wish to use any work from this archive in a film, video, podcast, exhibition, lecture, performance, or other project — please contact contact@deniardente.com to discuss licensing terms.
10. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deni ArDente shall not be liable for any damages arising from your use of this archive or any content within it. The archive is provided "as is" for the purposes of literary, creative, and reflective engagement.
11. Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kyiv, Ukraine.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms over time. Continued use of the archive after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
